Most people think the Book of Revelation is dark, scary, and full of judgments. Certainly, there are many judgments in it but this is an essential book to understand. It is one of my favorites. Here are some aspects of the book that make it essential and concepts we will stress in our study:
a. The book stresses the nature and Glory of God more than most books and is Worship centered.
b. The book is like a 5th Gospel on Christ, stressing the resurrection ministry of Christ.
c. The book reveals the completion of the Plan of God and world history with Israel as the focus, including the completion of all Biblical Theology.
d. The book tells us more about Angels than any other book of the Bible.
e. There are many other important concepts taught by the book and is the only book promising a Blessing for readers/doers.
These studies were done for a Monday evening Zoom Group beginning in Feb 2024. The teaching is a sentence-by-sentence exposition of the Book of Revelation and is somewhat detailed. It is done in an informal, relaxed setting with a little audience interaction and laughter.
